Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Provides product management as required, including, but not limited to, identifying improvements in products, sales processes, and quality control.
•Understands pricing, costing, budgeting, forecasting, and proposal models.
•Maintains existing business and targets new business to generate increased sales volume at established profit margins.
•Demonstrates business development skills to maximize opportunities in the taking of market share from competitors.
•Penetrates the customer organization to enhance sales opportunities at the highest level possible and build integral relationships.
•Generate marketing strategies to improve product penetration into the industry.
•Assists in the development of marketing or promotional materials.
•Gains inclusion of the company’s products into master specifications of Owners and/or Consulting Engineers.
•Responds to technical questions forwarded from customer service or inside sales, outside sales, owners, etc. regarding the company’s products.
•Communicates with customers and distributors, to verify service details and product applicability.
•Provides technical presentations on products/services to owners, engineers, distributors, etc. as needed.
•Influences customers or distributors to select the company’s products.
•Makes periodic job-site visits for product installation inspections and/or training sessions.
•Assists other sales engineers as needed; train customer service or inside sales regarding most frequently asked technical questions.
•Identify opportunities to cross-sell and assist other business units with new sales prospects

Reporting to: Technical Sales Manager/Marketing Associate

Job Requirement

Qualifications:

·         BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.

·         Product management experience with emphasis being in products for Commercial cleaning supplies.

·         Must have demonstrated ability to quickly learn broad in-depth knowledge in a short period of time.

·         Good communication ability on telephone, in person, and in written technical correspondence. Attentive and responsive to our market and customer needs. Ability to make professional presentations in front of large groups and close on sales opportunities.

·         Excellent organization skills required to manage numerous issues and responsibilities at once.

·         Must like and be willing to travel at least 25% in a typical month (occasionally on short notice).

·         Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
