{"id":11067,"date":"2022-12-19T14:26:03","date_gmt":"2022-12-19T14:26:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.yes-et.com\/jobs\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=11067"},"modified":"2022-12-19T14:26:03","modified_gmt":"2022-12-19T14:26:03","slug":"transsions-addis-ababa-contract-human-resources-supervisor","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.yes.et\/jobs\/job\/transsions-addis-ababa-contract-human-resources-supervisor\/","title":{"rendered":"Human Resources Supervisor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Duties &amp; responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Creates and executes effective recruitment processes consistent with the Company\u2019s goals and business objectives<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Ensures all recruitment policies, procedures and techniques are adhered to and recommend improvements.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Proactively communicates the recruitment plan and gain alignment with line managers, as well as communicating HR policies and procedures.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Participates in the human resources planning process.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Works closely with various work units to deliver recruitment needs.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Suggests proper media for approaching the right candidates.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Follows up and coordinate with recruitment channels (employment agencies, professional associations, universities).<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Executes pre-screening and\/or final phone\/face-to-face interviews for medium and senior level posts and support all parties in matters related to assessment.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Assists in managing induction programs for new hires.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Participates and assists work units in the training need identification of their staff; organize training events and programs.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Prepares salaries and provide all the required information to Finance Department for payment.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Participates and assists work units in carrying out performance appraisal of their staff.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Assists and advises line managers in grievance\/complaint handling and disciplinary matters.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Liaises with labor union in matters related employee services, grievances\/complaints and take proper action or report to HR Director for further action.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Oversees the timekeeping of staff in all work units.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Performs other related duties as assigned<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Required Competencies<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Knowledge of compensation and HR management practices and approaches.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Knowledge of effective job analysis methods and of survey development and interpretation practices and principles.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Knowledge of performance management program design and administration.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Knowledge of federal and state wage and hour regulations; Labor Proclamations and other related regulations.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Skill in writing conducting job analysis, job evaluation and preparing job descriptions, memorandums, letters, and proposals.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Skill in making presentations to groups and in explaining HR policies and practices to employees and supervisors.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Ability to plan and prioritize work.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Ability to use spreadsheets, presentation graphics, word processing, and database computer software.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Knowledge of people management.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 An effective communicator at all levels of the organization.<\/p>\n<p>Qualification\u00a0BA Degree in Management\/or any other related field of study<\/p>\n<p>Experience:4 years of experience in HR management and At least 2 years in supervisory level.
