Main Purpose of the Job
The incumbent will provide effective support to the administration function in Ethiopia while ensuring timely delivery of work in the allocated area.
What you will do:
- Ensure the reception area is well managed aligned with the departmental service level agreement;
- Receive clients and visitors and notify relevant department/staff member in a timely manner;
- Effectively handle client queries at the reception and channel them to the relevant department/staff;
- Keep an updated register of all letters, cheques and parcels received through the reception;
- Handle the switchboard professionally;
- Dispatch parcels in a timely manner through courier;
- Manage the newspapers and newspaper subscription for all eligible staff;
- Operate the franking machine and ensure timely franking of letters;
- Manage the administration emails and alert the business on any email that requires their attention; and
- Effectively and efficiently manage travel/ticketing.
- Take up any other administrative tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- A Diploma in Front Office management is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 1-2 years working experience.
- Be an Ethiopian citizen or eligible to work in Ethiopia.
